Each year, choirs are invited to perform holiday music in the airport for the enjoyment of travelers, visitors and employees.
“This is one of those feel-good events where we can invite the community into the airport and celebrate the season,” said Tina Kinsey, director of marketing and public relations. “Traveling during the holidays should not be stressful and when our visitors hear these local chorus groups we hope they relax and enjoy their time in the Airport even more.”
The following is a schedule of choral performances:
– 8:45 a.m. Wednesday — Immaculata Catholic School
– 12:45 p.m. Thursday — Asheville-Pisgah Christian School
– 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 — Chase High School
– 10:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16 — Brevard High
– 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 — Claxton Elementary
– 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 — Cullowhee Valley School
– 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18 — Rosman High
– 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18 — Clyde A. Erwin High
– 2 p.m. — Thursday, Dec. 19 — Enka Middle School
