Let the local shopping festivities commence with the annual A Holly Day in downtown Aiken.
In-store promotions, entertainment, refreshments and door prizes will all be a part of the downtown experience for residents and visitors on Saturday.
“We are extremely excited about this year’s event because we have so many wonderful businesses participating offering an amazing variety of shopping opportunities,” said Avery Spears-Mahoney, executive director of the Aiken Downtown Development Association. “This event is a day to come embrace what makes downtown Aiken unique and shop with businesses that support our local community.”
Performers include Megan Jensen and the East Aiken School of Arts Orchestra and Chorus. MAiken Music will be caroling throughout downtown. Shoppers may also be visited by Santa’s elves carrying gifts from Vinya’s, La Dolce, My Aiken Body and more.
Spears-Mahoney said she encourages shoppers to spend a day shopping downtown enjoying the Christmas ambiance, while also checking out the volunteer choral and musical groups and entertainers in front of sponsored stores.
