Asheville City Council candidates meet in Montford

City residents are invited to come talk to City Council candidates during a meet-and-greet session tonight in Montford.

The session begins at 7 p.m. at the Randolph Learning Center at 90 Montford Avenue. Candidates will be available to talk to individual residents.

Girls Gone Outdoors – Looking for a few good volunteers

Short Videos from Bele Chere 2011

I went out on the town during Bele Chere 2011 rocking the fancy-schmancy new Canon 60D DSLR camera, which was responsible for the Beautiful Photo Galleries from the past few days.  Because the camera functions were such a joy to use, I didn’t make many videos with it.  I just got a few short clips, all of which I’ve posted to our YouTube Channel (Subscribe, please!).  Below is a clip of a street drummer doing his thing, with a couple more Bele Chere 2011 clips after the jump.
