When I posted the most recent call for nominations for AshevilleLive’s Faves, it was for your favorite place to shop in Downtown Asheville. When I did so, I didn’t consider the wide assortment of shops we have downtown. Unfortunately, what we ended up with was an assortment of nominations for stores that really aren’t very similar, and only 2 shops were nominated more than once. Those shops were Dolce Vita, an awesome store which sells locally made gift items, and True Blue Art Supplies, another cool local shop which obviously sells art supplies. These stores cater to different shoppers, so it feels unfair to pit them against each other in a vote. Therefore, I am hereby declaring BOTH the winners of AshevilleLive’s Faves: Favorite Place to Shop Downtown!
