Asheville was the first city in the US to employ Trolley Cars. Here is your chance to own a piece of American history! Today is the last day for an eBay auction to buy the 1927 Asheville trolley car. This J. G. Brill Company trolley car was one of just ten cars operating on the streets of Asheville eighty years ago.

The Asheville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts will celebrate this Saturday February 28 starting at 1:00 pm at the Stephens-Lee Recreation Center.
