As a way to continue the vitality of the Aiken community, while remembering its past, Aiken Together seeks pledged donations to support three institutions with a goal to share stories of the area’s history with residents and visitors.
A capital campaign to raise $2.9 million over a span of five years, Aiken Together is seeking private donations to fund the Center for African American History, Art and Culture; the Aiken Visitors Center and Train Museum; and funding to open a Savannah River Site Heritage Center.
