David Gans, popular performer and story teller, will be appearing in Asheville at the end of the month with 2 live shows. The first show will take place at The Rocket Club (401 Haywood Rd) on April 27th beginning at 9pm. After swinging up to Greensboro for a night, he returns to Asheville on April 29th for a show at MoDaddy’s (77-B Biltmore Ave) also beginning at 9pm. Both shows have a $7 cover charge.
Known far and wide as the light behind the widely syndicated Grateful Dead Hour radio program, several books on the Dead and a number of intriguing CDs relating to the band and its music (see discography below), David has in recent years developed a solid following nationwide for his compelling songs and music. In fact, despite the economic downturn, David says he
